Food anatomization : Mishra Pedha Big Foods, Jayanagar - Bangalore

On the busy road of Jayanagar, is the Mishra Pedha shop - a famous sweets and snacks joint. The shop is not too big  - and by the looks of it who would have imagined it's popularity.
It lies just across the street - and very hard too miss.

As you enter - you would see numerous sweets and dry namkeen on the display. From what I observed, I think the sweets were pricy compared to what I know of as the standard rates.
The other side of the shop boosts of the samosa, kachori and wada pavs kept in glass cabins.
The shop is very tightly arranged.

You bill for what you need at the counter and the guy provides you with a token.

We opted for the samosas. There is a lady who serves the samosas. She cuts the samosas into half and puts in the chutneys.
The samosas were dead cold - the least it must be heated if it is being asked for consumption then and there - a real turn down for me. Snacks like samosa definitely shouldn't be served cold.
But despite this, I must say the samosas did taste good, spicy and tangy - specially its lip smacking chutney. Had it been served hot - it would have done wonders.

Recently tried the DHARWARD PEDHA - soft and sweet pedha with distinct taste of milk powder dusted atop.

There is no place to stand and eat inside the shop, so you have to resort to the steps of the shop to finish your snacks.

They have placed a drinking water stand outside - so you can quench you thirst.
