Gluttony Events : Forennte, Koregaon Park - Pune
On the eve of Women's Day, Zomato surprised me with Zomato goodies teamed up with Forennte. It was a welcoming surprise. :)
Forennte, is located in Koregaon Park - frankly had never heard about it before I received the goodies from here. From the reviews, I see that it has gained a lot of popularity in a matter of few days.
The package consisted of the FUDGE ASSORTMENT,MARBLE SLICE CAKE and ALMOND ROCKS WITH JALAPENO WHEELS.
The fudge assortment had a total of 6 pieces in it - 3 pieces each of two kinds.
One was a nutty fudge and the other was a pure chocolaty.
I guess there was one with coffee flavor - I did get a slight hint of coffee but not very sure. Finding the exact flavor could be easily bypassed in exchange for the sinful taste of the fudge - soft,indulgent and flavorsome. :) You would be forced into another helping. Yummm.....
The nutty fudge was more of being loaded with the goodness of nuts and less of the chocolate-ness.
Both of them were a delight.
The marble slice cake - baked freshly and was darn good.
The almond rocks with jalapeno wheels - a new kind of savory. Bread, baked and rolled freshly in the shape of big cup cake - with plentiful of jalapenos and sun dried tomatoes. I am not sure how the almond rocks did it fit in here?! Never the less, what matters is that it was flavorsome - with the twist of the subtle spicy-ness of the ingredients and seasonings and the mighty softness of the bread roll. Perfect!
It was nibble snack for the day! ;)
A new fancy Latin word in my vocabulary - FORENNTE: meaning to eat fervently.
