Food anatomization : Starbucks, Amanora Mall - Pune

First of all I must comment, that as you just enter the place, the cheerful greet that you receive from the staff is really pleasing and livening.

In a true sense it exhibits how they try to create the good feel factor for the customers. The added advantage that it also exposes the friendliness of the staff towards their customers.

The ambiance is soothing and relaxing - just what I would ask of a café!
It is absolutely amazing to spend some quality time here with yours friends - catching up or just chilling for that matter on a weekend.
They have a variety in their seating arrangement - table and chairs and the sofa seating.
The best of the lot are the sofa chairs next to the tall windows overlooking Amanora. :)

Have never been a great fan of hot coffee, so without a doubt my favorite order all the time is
Mocha Java Chip cold coffee - blend of cold coffee with milk, ice, whipped cream loaded with choco chips and mocha drizzle - my absolute favorite. Love it - best in the cold coffee section that I could ask for.

In an attempt to try my hands on something new - tried the CARAMEL FRAPPUCCINO. Alas did not appeal me. A combination of milk, ice, coffee, whipped crème and caramel syrup. So-So!!

The CHAI LATTE was good - black tea with about little steamed milk and the added spices were the taste enhancers.Aromatic!

Hit Starbucks after long. :)

This time it was for trying their newly launched drinks for Christmas.

We ordered for two of their Christmas special drinks - Christmas cookie Frappuccino and Mocha Praline Frappuccino.
The Mocha Praline Frappuccino was good. Loaded with hazelnuts, combined with espresso and milk, whipped cream and drizzled with mocha sauce - the taste was similar to Java mocha chip minus the Choco chips. Hazelnuts really added to the taste of the drink.
My friend went gaga over the Christmas cookie Frappuccino. Dressed with toffee nut syrup, whipped cream, crumbles of cookie pieces atop with the caramel drizzle, it looked really irresistible.
The cups had special Christmas designs on it - the jingles and the special leafy structure. :)
We gave a shot to few of their bakery items still available during that hour - Banana chocolate Loaf cake and oatmeal & raisin cookie.
The BANANA CHOCOLATE LOAF CAKE was really freshly baked yet just about good, given that I shun bananas.
The OATMEAL AND RAISIN COOKIE was a healthy choice on the contrary, it was baked with oats, raisins and garnished with nuts and sprinkled additionally with a sweet powder. :P I
The sweetness was a tad bit more. Sweetness is never a problem, but the saturation level builds on such a big piece.

On an all , a good Christmas experience. :) :)

Another visit and few more items to add to the list. :)

The CHERRY CHOCOLATE CAKE - just one word delicious. First and foremost, it looked so beautiful with the grated pieces of chocolate adorning it - which pushed me to eat it delicately. The taste - first class - chocolate and chocolate,flawless flavors - chocolate for some reason can never go wrong!! :)
The TALL MOCHA was strong and rich coffee - espresso with steamed milk, whipped crème and mocha sauce. Nice drink in their hot beverage section.
The FLAVOURED LATTE was espresso with steamed milk flavored with caramel syrup. For the coffee drinkers - who like their coffee plain yet with a shot of flavored syrup - the Starbuck style!! Another surprise drink in the hot beverage section.

Had a bitter, ok not a bitter experience - yet worth a mention. We billed for our drinks - and we noticed that there was some an offer printed on the bill which would entitle one in the next seven days a free beverage of one's choice.
It was stated as - "You are entitled to free beverage of your choice on your next visit. Valid for 7 days from tomorrow."
Since it was mentioned in the bill - I did not really feel the need to get it re-verified at the counter.
When I returned within the above mentioned days, I was told straight that it was a billing error and it was being printed on every bill. This is truly not expected from a brand like Starbucks - you have lost it out from me on your hospitality. :(
If there is something being printed due to a technical glitch, it is the responsibility of the staff to notify its customers during billing itself.Disappointing!!!
