The Sri Jagannath Temple is home to Lord Jagannath, his brother Balabhadra and sister Subhadra. 🙏
For all the Odias in Bangalore, the temple is a place of ultimate bliss and purely serene.
Ultimate peace - bhagwan ke sharan main. 😊
For all those like me, who have not been able to visit the Puri Jagannath temple, this definitely is a must visit.
Knowing the right point to take the diversion is a mandate since this one is a one way and people often get misled. Many a time, we have found people getting stuck in that sinful one way. 😒
The temple is at a busy junction on the road.
The architecture being followed is similar to the one in Jagannath temple in Puri. Jai Jagannath!!☆
With the work being sped up, the murthis of bhagwan ji have finally been shifted to the main chamber of the temple.
The epic architecture, stone carvings on the walls of the temple clearly reflect the talent and the effort being put in to build the temple. It is truly worth an appreciation - such craft of work.
Take some time to adore the craftsmen work.
There is Puja performed by the Pandits in every part of the day.
In the afternoon, the curtains are closed when the Bhog is offered to the Lord.
During the weekends the place is thronged with the crowd, especially in the evenings.
You have an option to buy the Prasad which is made in temple kitchen after it has been offered to the lord - absolutely delicious. The aroma of the simplistic Bhog will leave you totally stunned - wow!!
Nearby you can find many stalls where you can buy stuff for chadhawa.
