Food Tasting Event : Masala Punjab De, Viman Nagar - Pune
Masala Punjab De - a delivery only outlet based in Viman Nagar - was brave enough to home deliver food for tasting all the way from Viman Nagar - kudos to the attempt. 👍
This food tasting invite was extended by Prince from Masala Punjab Da.
The order was sent across Food Panda and was prompt on time in Magarpatta.
It was a mixed order - tired to lay my hands on their ability to imbibe Punjabi flavors.
The HARA BHARA KEBAB - not a very good start. But appreciate their efforts for realizing the dish. 😶
Although the kebabs were tad bit salty and dry - with correction of flavors this would have fared well. The usage of dry fruits in the kebabs was impressive - but serving the kebab in a dry mixture of cashew nuts and peas - confused me on the plating. Why so green da?!😂
The CHEF PANEER SPECIAL was the star of the evening - totally flavorsome - the bites of garlic was bang on - the gravy being masaledar and rich, which was evident from amount of oil that was resting in the container - never the less, it went perfectly with the GARLIC NAANS.
This was finger licking good, with fresh paneer cubes totally bringing out the flavors of the gravy.👍
The SCHEZWAN NOODLES were spicy, laden with spring onions - but the long strands of noodles failed to make a mark - specifically with the pungent smell.😐
The HYDERABADI BIRYANI was well attempted sans the raita which is a must serve,since the biryani was too dry. The masala in the biryani did not work the magic which I was expecting it to impart, and tasted about good. 😊

For the price they charge the serving size is competitive. The packaging was intact.
