Product Review : iD Fresh Products

Karishma from iD Fresh Foods was humble to send over a range of iD products for trial.

Received my package, and I was super excited to try out the iD products. 😁

I can't express how easy these products made my weekend - just heat and eat breads, the idly-dosa batter. 👍

Excellent!! All day I was glued to the couch potato and enjoying scrumptious meals at ease.

iD produces fresh, natural and preservative free products - it is an attempt to give everyone a taste of something real close to home made food.

iD prepares all their products in the most traditional and authentic way with highly fresh ingredients and no added chemicals.

"It's food, only food."

So my breakfast started by bringing the IDLY-DOSA BATTER to experiment.I tried to make myself some yummy and delicious pizza styled uttapams.

The batter was consistent and was mildly salted. Add more salt if needed, as per your taste.

With no preservatives added to the batter - it is naturally fermented.The batter has a short shelf life - and it must be refrigerated. The pouch is resealable and reusable - as per instructions in the package, you can store the batter in the packet itself.

At least at home,there are very rare cases when we purchase idly-dosa batter. Usually Mommy the great, prepares the batter using natural ways of fermentation. And I would say, iD's batter was close to home made ones, just tad bit thinner consistency.

The pizza style uttapams cooked up to be really crispy and soft. 😃

Priced at Rs.70 for 1 kg - it can make about 20 idlis or 14 dosas.

The  JUST HEAT MALABAR PAROTA are really fluffy and extra soft. They are so layered plus lachhedar - it is a delight to have them. 😊


Add oil or ghee and heat it for sometime, till both the sides turn golden brown and you are sorted.

It is a viable ready to eat option, specially when you have guests coming over and you want to serve them something special in the breads.The taste and authenticity is top notch.😋

They are made with 60% maida and prepared with addition of rice bran oil.

Best part is they aren't frozen - although the instruction says store in a cool place - but I guess it is better to refrigerate the pack.

Now I exactly know how can I prepare some tasty egg-rolls. 😍

The JUST HEAT WHOLE WHEAT CHAPATIS are done well, but of course they cannot beat the taste of freshly made chapatis.

The chapatis are so round and thin - wow, I was amazed!

Of course made with whole wheat and dough is done just right - you can feel it in the quality of the rotis.

They are a quick escape during your regular nights when you don't want to bake rotis after a tiring day at office - perfect replacement for the day when we say "Roti bahar se mangwa lete hain!"

The pack needs to be refrigerated.

I coupled the chapatis with moong dal preparation.

The JUST HEAT WHOLE WHEAT PAROTA are the wheat version of the Malabar Parotas - and I enjoyed them the most. 👌

Layered, lacheddar, but not as soft since they were the wheat version - you can evidently notice them in the parotas. It is difficult to distinguish between homemade and these ready to eat ones.

Add oil/ghee and cook both sides and you are good to go.

The parathas are really tasty plus healthy due to the added advantage of being made with wheat flour.

It can be wolfed down with a sabzi or dal as per your choice.

The pack needs to be refrigerated.

All these with no strenuous effort in the kitchen - beat that?! 😈
