Gluttony Diaries : The Irani cafe, Hadapsar - Pune

Irani Cafes, are effortlessly continuing to carve a niche in Pune - and nothing was more exciting to have this cafe opened in neighboring areas of Magarpatta.

ADDRESS:

Shop 3, KONARK ICON
Next to Maruti Show Room
Magarpatta City, Hadapsar

Like all the Irani Cafe, with this one as well we had to bear with its fair share of queue - by 10:30-ish in the morning over the weekend there was a significant rush here.  πŸ˜•

The cafe is a two storey-ed with a mezzanine arrangement, yet the queue for grabbing the seats. 😊
Another sad part, is that they accept only cash not even Paytm, as their card machine isn't working. Make sure to carry cash, because in the digital era, being so used to swiping cards, carrying cash in higher denomination is unlikely. πŸ˜•

By the looks of the place, it has been designed well. πŸ’™

Little untidy - especially if you are allotted tables by the sides or by the kitchen - constant cleanliness is needed with the crowd turning up.πŸ˜’
With the wall art, a pretty chandelier, lights and wall hangings - it makes for a decorated place.
We started off with the TEA - because where there is TEA, there is HOPE. The chai was good, milky, sweet - it went perfectly with the butter laden BUN MUSKA.

The CHEESE OMELETTE was good - but was an overdose of the oozing cheese. It would be an absolute love for hard core cheese lovers, but I struggled with the cheese, else it was well attempted.😁
A lot many items on their menu weren't available - so for the vegetarians it is a difficult place to be at. πŸ˜”
After hunting through the limited options, next we ordered for the CHEESE CHILI SANDWICH - this one for some reason had a typical sour taste as though it had pickle like elements or maybe the cheese had gone sour. Okay-ish, I would say.
BROON MUSKA - the name seemed so fancy. So this was the toasted version of the bun muska. Went well with chai.
For some reason I was obsessed with having MAWA CAKE - highly inspired  having seen a very cute short video named MAWA CAKE. But alas,it did not live up to the hype in my mind - it was nothing extraordinary, seemed quite little dry with few mawa pieces adorned on the top.
And what followed was just gossip with tumblers of chai following one after the other.

Do not miss having the IRANI BLACK TEA - this is reserved for my next visit here. 😁
