Gluttony Diaries : Kailash Parbat, Jayanagar - Bangalore

Kailash Parbat has found a new love from the folks in Bangalore - with its new chain opening in Jayanagar, our neighbors & friends couldn't stop talking how good the North Indian food is here.

On my mom's insistence we did pay the place a visit. Parking is definitely a pain on the busy streets of Jayangar and sadly they have space for only 2-3 cars.😒

WHAT I TRIED:

We started off with my mom's favorite the MANGO & FENUGREEK LASSI - it was the perfect thirst quencher for the flaming weather - loved the ultra cute milkman batlis they were served in. Ghadi lassi with the garnish of saunf, the definitive taste of saunf in every sip - mashallah, a must have. Mind you - it is quite filling - so sharing won't be bad idea after all. Mango-licious mango yogurt drink!! 😍

Mind you - it is pure vegetarian restaurant.

Next we dug onto the PANEER TIKKA MASTANI - fresh cottage cheese slapped with spices and grilled to perfection with the charring done aptly. Impressive - just like I like it!

 The VEG DUM BIRYANI - was well attempted in comparison to the other dishes. Little less on veggies and quantity was concerning. Tasty but would have loved more flow of the masalas in the biryani.

AMBIANCE:

The chat counters had the cartoon based inscriptions on the wall. The placed seemed little cramped up - with more tables accommodated. Simple cozy ambiance.😊
