Gluttony Diaries : Baked & Wired, Kalyani Nagar - Pune

I read about this restaurant in an article which listed the must have of Pune. The deep dish pizza quickly drew our attention and we set to explore the Baked & Wired.

WHAT I TRIED:

The CHICAGO DEEP DISH VEGGIE DELIGHT PIZZA - a one of its kind pizza. It is a traditional Chicago style thick crust sturdy pizza.
Cheese oozing out in every bite with heavy veggie filings. Mama-mia - there is so much cheese that using your hands is not an option - pick up that fork and knife and dig into it!!😋
The preparation time is 45 minutes - so you have to wait it out till the wonder reaches your table.😊

The pizza starts with a layer of dough dressed with cheese and veggie like corn,jalapenos, onions,capsicum, olives. This is topped with more and more cheese. There after it is covered with a thin dough - which sort of traps the flavors within -  and over the top is added their in house pizza sauce, cheese & more cheese and veggies. It is a must try for a pizza lover - it is a new experience altogether.The cheese pull when the slices are served will get you ecstatic.

This is so fulfilling - I can't wait to try their other variants. 😍

AMBIANCE:

Tucked in the by-lanes of Kalyani Nagar - who would have imagined the wonder this restaurant cooks up.

A casual eatery with about 4-5 table setup in a mezzanine flooring, with their kitchen on the ground floor.

Service is slightly slow and it gets crowded by about 2-ish in the afternoon.
