Food anatomization : Lazeez, Koramangala - Bangalore
After much loitering around Bangalore, seeing the tagline "Grand cuisine of Calcutta" - I couldn't resist but going there.
The place is quite simple - has about 8-9 tables. It is small and has the kitchen at the end of the restaurant. The roll and the kebab counters are in the entrance itself in glass enclosing. The place looked very clean.
I ordered for the CHICKEN ROLL - having a gut feeling a bong restaurant would never fail on rolls. It was about 19:00-ish, when we went and there was no other customer - yet they took about 20 minutes for a single order. Another couple walked in about 15 minutes later - and the chef instead of adhering to delivery order placed first put an effort in making all the three rolls at one go. So someone who came 15 minutes later got their order in the same amount of time as us.
Keeping your customer waiting - a BIG no.....and definitely not when you have a open kitchen.
Albeit I can't complain on the roll - it was just awesome.Crispy and well cooked parathas rolled with succulent pieces of chicken with a dice of sliced onions - perfect!
Will definitely go there to try other dishes as well.
