Food anatomization : Moksha Family Bar and Restaurant, JP Nagar - Bangalore

Moksha Family Bar and Restaurant is about at a kilometer's distance from my home in Bangalore at Kanakpura Road, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. πŸ˜‹

We opted for the home-delivery via the Zomato order online feature.

Due to some problem, they didn't have one particular dish that we ordered for - they took the liberty to contact us via Zomato and confirm if they could deliver something similar - appreciate the efforts - customer care.

They do charge extra for packaging, alas - but neatly done.

Started with the VEG BIRYANI - tasty! Long grains of saffron infused basmati rice assembled with lots of diced veggies and again layered with the basmati rice was aromatic and tasted flawless.
It came along with raita and a rassa sort of stuff.

The PANEER TIKKA was gravy-licious with awesomely prepared tomato gravy with fresh chunks of tikka-ed paneer in it, and garnished with chopped coriander!! Finding a place in Bangalore, not serving you an extreme sweet paneer dish is to be awarded for plus it was prepared the way, just how I like it.Totally flavorsome.😊

The ROTI BASKET consisted of around 5 types of roti - naan, roti, kulcha and paratha.
The portions were generous.

We enjoyed a hearty meal totally. :)

But I did cite price differences of about Rs.10-20 in what Zomato offered through their order online portal and what menu uploaded from the restaurant had. Why so?!

Impressive!

A visit to the restaurant this time. We ordered for the ANDHRA THALI and it faired well equally given the price it was served at. The center of the attraction was the fresh, un-popped hot puris in an ANDHRA THALI. Wow!!
There was DAL, RASAM, PAPAD, ACHAAR, THICK HUNG CURD, SABJI - a plate full of spicyness and tangy-ness - maja aagaya!! πŸ™Œ

They have this fabulous offer of VEG BIRYANI with a VEG STARTER and a bottle of coke at Rs.99/-. It is a steal away offer - for the items being served. Sufficient for one and equally satiating too. The ALOO CHILLY preparation was little offsetting - instead of boiled potatoes, had the potatoes been stir fried, the dish would have completely changed colors.
The BIRYANI was more like a fried rice - but I wouldn't complain. 😁 It went well with the rassa and the raita.
