Food Tasting Event : Tempteys, Viman Nagar - Pune
Tempteys - a newbie in town fresh from Hyderabad is a complete Shake bar and a first of its kind in Pune. With over 5 stores already open in Hyderabad - they are aggresively expanding in Bengaluru and Pune - you can imagine the like-ness it has amongst the crowd.
It lives by the tag line - 'Let's meet over a milkshake'.
I was here on an invite from Haritha from Tempteys and I am glad I made it to the cafe. Located at Town Square just next to Dorabjee is right on the main lane - easily reachable.
The first noticeable thing is the lovely doodled filled walls - which gives an absolute funky fun ambiance feel. The place might be small but is still accommodating - can seat about 15-20 guests at one go.
The staff is really courteous and special thanks to the owner Mr.Amit who attended us so well, providing informative details about Tempteys, their in-house churned ice cream and their procedures of making the darn good thick shakes. A big thank you!! 😃
What's unique about this premium brand is systematic-ness and uniformity across. The shakes here come in two bases - Gelato and Avalanche which makes your shakes extremely a delicacy.
Gelato is rich & savory ice-cream based and the Avalanche is creamy yogurt based. Both low in fat - what more can one ask for?! 😝
The hidden recipe lies in their in house churned ice-cream and the healthy fruit pulps.
For a shake only cafe - their menu is vast with options. Varieties ranging from Classic Shakes, Premium Shakes, Choco Shakes, Exclusive Choco Shakes, Cookies and Cake Shake, Exclusive Shakes, Healthy and Protein Shakes to Coffee Shakes.
I am definite one wouldn't go disappointed from this cafe - it has something to offer to each taste bud - healthy, chocolatey or fruity!
So I tried a couple of their shakes - and by the end, I was feeling shake-licious!! 😎 Truly, their magic lies in their in-house portions added to the shakes. 💙
The CHOCO BROWNIE - a blend of their store based ice-cream with chocolates, whipped cream and brownie crumbles over the top. Do you know, they measure each ingredient, then add to the jar and eventually prepare the shake. This ensures a 100% guarantee of same taste each time - no mess up on that front. This one was indeed a thick shake with chilled ice cream base being the icing on the cake. I found the brownie crumbles a tad bit dry 😃 yet scooping through the shake - yummm!! 💖

The BLUE FALL - I am a chocolate fanatic, but for once I loved this shake over the chocolate ones. And that light blue-ish texture of the shake would make you fall in love with it all the more. This one was ice cream based with added blue berry fruit pulp topped with whipped cream and garnished with colorful sprinklers.
Beauty!! Looked like jewels atop a sea. Artistic looking! 🙌
STRAWMANE - strawberry flavored, with a smooth & thick yogurt base and topped with strawberry crush. With the taste of real strawberries - this one was fruity-licious with fresh fruity goodness of strawberries. 😋 Healthy plus just look at the blending colors - milky white with strawberry red.
The COFFEE FANTASY was another heart winning thick shake imbibed with flavors of strong coffee, Sunfeast cookie crumbles with their in house churned ice-cream, whipped cream and chocolate sauce drizzle. Rich and heavenly - can binge drink this one!!😉 Coffeeeeee.....
