Food anatomization : Adya's Anand bhavan, Kanakpura Road - Bangalore
Anand Bhavan - is one of the famous and oldest food joints in Bangalore.
During my last visit to Bangalore - on our way while for a long drive on the Kanakpura Road - we noticed this newly opened Anand Bhavan. We, as a family have been a fan of this food chain.
And I must comment it is one of the nicest joints in this area and quite an expanded one.
As you enter the eye catchy part is the variety of the sweets and namkeens on display.Looked damn tempting.
Anand Bhavan deal in serving a wide variety of food items varying from chaats, badam milk, juices, pav bhaji, ice-creams and more.
They sell canned food items, which you will find on the display.
A self service joint - pay upfront, collect the coupons for the food items and collect it from the respective counter.
The joint houses about 19-20 odd tables which are neatly organized. The staff takes well care of the cleanliness and hygiene of the place.
Coming to what we had - since we were here during the late lunch hours - we opted for the MINI THALI. The number of items placed on the plate for the price were impressive.
Obviously, goes without saying it was a limited thali.
The thali contained 2 rotis, fryums, sabji,curd, rice, sambhar, rasam and a sweet dish. To state the dishes were delectable and curbed our hunger thoroughly. A good hearty south Indian meal.
The place seemed pretty crowded, and people were just pouring in.
