Food anatomization : Govinda's, Iskon Temple - Pune
On a sunny morning, we decided to visit the Iskon temple near the new Kondhwa road. It is quite a journey of almost 45 minutes to 1 hour - if you are blessed, you would reach earlier with no traffic.
Iskon has lot of food stalls outside the temple - this is a bliss especially for the people who travel from the other end of the world(not literally :P )
There are almost 4-5 shops in line there. The eye catchy ones are the sweet vendors selling a variety of delicacies - wow!! From namkeen, quick snacks to sweets.
I had the mango lassi - it had no additional sweetening added, so it had a mix of sour-sweet taste.
The sugarcane juice was very refreshing - fresh from the sugarcanes and nectarous. Relishing!
The combo was perfect to beat the Pune heat.
