Hotel anatomization : Ginger Hotel, Satpur - Nashik

Browsing through Make My Trip, and we saw Ginger Hotel to be among the top hotels in Nashik.

Ginger Hotels are brand adventure of Tata - and with the name itself there is association of trust. Giving no second thought, we went ahead and booked our rooms in Ginger Hotel - a 3 star hotel.

HOW TO GET HERE:

The hotel is about 14-15 kms from the Nashik railway station, 3 kms from the bus stand.It is comparatively farther from the airport about 30 kms.
We did not manage to get a Ola from the station, so we opted for an auto ride - charged us about Rs.150-Rs.200.

GINGER HOTEL:

The hotel is on the busy roads of Nashik, hence you would find very few shops or restaurants in its vicinity - which is kind of a disadvantage. The nearest you can go to is the Nashik City Center which is about 3-4 kms from here.
The hotel is spread over a wide area and well fenced. It boosts of a big parking lot for the guests. The hotel has about 95 smart spaced rooms and the building is about 3 storeyed. They have Single, Twin and standard room types.

As we entered the hotel premises, the reception backdrop is embossed with the name of the hotel in red base. Red seemed to be the theme for the decor. The hotel is simplistic in its design and well maintained - dimly lighted through the floors.

As we entered the room, the room had a strong odour from someone smoking in there - we called the reception and they had someone spray room freshener ASAP.

We had opted for the Standard Twin Room - the room was good enough for 2 guests, not very spacious though. It had a double king size bed, stocked with clean sheets and blankets. The room had basic decor with about 2 wall paintings over the bed, a table chair put at the end of the room.

The room faces few other residential buildings - so not much of a sight to offer.
The room again was dimly lighted. The wall having the window and blinds was painted in bright orange-ish color.

The bathroom was spacious with the bathing and the toilet segregated.

CHECK IN TIME:

The check in timings are 2PM and checkout at 12PM.

The check in process was swift, Laksmi from Ginger Hotel just asked for our identity proofs and way to go. She was very cooperative and even offered us help with late check out. The next morning we had plans for sightseeing and temple visit which would definitely go beyond 2PM(their late check out time) by the time we returned - but Lakshmi without any hesitance offered us assistance with late check out formalities with keeping our luggage in the cloakroom to offering us room for quick freshening up before we leave - much appreciated help and hospitality. Kudos!! 😊

In all, a good stay with the staff to the guards being highly helpful and well behaved.
