Food anatomization : Mantraa, Satpur - Nashik

Mantraa, an in-house restaurant at the Ginger Hotels in Nasik, is stacked in one corner of the reception floor. The place accommodates about 10-15 tables.

The ambiance is dimly lighted - with no strenuous efforts on the decor. The hanging lights with orange-ish lighting and the orange blinds pretty much sum up the decor briefly. 😊
Theye have wooden table chair seating arrangement - comfortable I would say.
They have a TV mounted on the wall, over a wooden strip placed on the wall.

The first day we were here for dinner.
We ordered for the SUBZ MILONI - a mixed vegetable curry with loads of greens. Tasted really good, with homely flavours flowing in.

The NAAN was these thick rotis tandoor-ed, we really enjoyed the authentic naan after long.

Next in line was the VEGETABLE BIRYANI which comparatively did not fair so well against the sabzi. It had excess of garam masala which was depriving us of the fun of eating the biryani. The biryani was sans the biryani masala - seemed more like a pulav.

Next day we were here for lunch. Well the experience - a total flip from that of our previous meal here.We ordered for the MILI JULI SUBZI - was a so-so dish. It had veggies with cubes of paneer and garnished with coriander leaves.

The VEG FRIED RICE was a disappointment - the basic problem was the quality of rice that had been used to prepare the dish. It had greens, spring onions and veggies but was missing the taste factor in totality.

The service was little laid back - if you happen to stay at the hotel, make sure to order your food in advance, would save a lot of time.
The staff although polite, could be more accommodating in terms of billing matters. Well they did ask us what mode of payment we would use - at first we happen to say we shall pay by card. But then eventually opted to pay by cash(this was, so to as shell out some change, which would be useful during our local travel). But word is a word here, quite literally  - you can't take back on what you have said. This attitude shows arrogance to the customer - it just a matter of rebilling. Too much trouble in the world of computers?!
