DAY 1

HOW TO GET HERE:

At a driving distance of about approximately 3 kms from out hostel stay at the Boot Start - the easiest way to commute in Goa is definitely hiring the self driving bikes. They give you the utmost freedom to move about anywhere you would want to.

MANDREM BEACH

Truly, one of the secluded beaches of Goa - Mandrem Beach is a peaceful beach. The beach is said to be sandwiched between two beaches of Ashwem and Arambol.

Come here in the wee hours of the morning, and you would find plentiful of foreigners performing YOGA. It is so enriching to see, how our ancient learning are valued and followed judiciously by these folks. 😊

Mandrem Beach is a calm white sand beach with clear water, edged by numerous coconut trees - it looks absolutely picturesque. It falls fit into that quintessential beach drawing that we sketched as a kid.💚😍

The beach is a perfect stretch for the morning jog or the evening strand - rejuvenating.💧

Don't plan ahead and head there to just chill & relax and laze around. 

Each time I was here, all that I did was stroll across the lengths of the beach and soak my feet in the sea water . For me, this is and will always be the best way to enjoy the endless beauty of any beach. 😊 

The added attraction is the bamboo driven bridge to reach the beach which adorns the beauty of the beach.

The beach has plentiful of star fishes being washed ashore.

There are plenty of shacks around the place - so you will have your tummies full and thirst quenched. 🙌

It is a beach to be - to avoid the hustle bustle and chaos of the city .

All you have to do is stand in there with your feet soaked in the water and just feel the salty breeze brushing against your face.

There are no major water sports being done on this beach. Albeit, you would find few folks trying to learn the surfing.

TIMINGS:

No timing as such - but post the sunset, the beach is very secluded. The coast guards can be seen doing rounds in the jeeps round the clock.

MUST HAVE/DO:

• Shades
• Sunscreen
• Flip Flops
• Extra pair of clothes
• Towel
• Sanitizers
• Avoid getting expensive things along - jewelry, phones

Be sun kissed ,sun soaked and sink your tiny feet into the sand beneath the water body!! 💋
